PS3 / PSP advice

hey guys, ive just been trawling through a bunch of gaming sites reading anything of use about setting up the psp and the ps3 for remote gameage, some of the main walls ive come up against are:

NAT 3 security setting on ps3

Having to leave remote play turned on on the ps3 to access it over the net (it can be switched on with the psp on the private network)

Since hooking a new wireless modem to my pc, the ps3 is now taking a good 5 minutes to pick up any media servers (wmp)

I have read a good bit about all this and I've got the right settings on everything (ps3, psp, router)

I'm guessing this is a problem Sony haven't fixed yet and I'm not expecting any essay-like tutorials but does someone know some random small detail which ive missed which is going to fix everything for me? (im good at wishful thinking me)

its a piece of piss you n00b

first thing is first
get a wireless router not an adaptor to make yer pc send out the wifi signal cos thats just lame

hook up yer psp and ps3 to the wifi network
get remote play working locally first (piece of piss)
once it is take note of yer internet ip address and when trying to connect remotely just use that as the address and if the router is any good itll forward it all for you to the puss and remote play will work fine

you can set yer puss to wake up on lan from a magic packet sent by the psp remotely so nbo need to leave it on just in standby mode in the remote play function

simple as that!

as for gamage
you can only play certain (but most) ps1 games remotely
puss 3games ya got no chance
and itll only work with the ps1 disk in the console not a download from pss (altho that may have changed now)

the media server issue is purely cos yer piggy backin yer connection instead of usin yer router to do it all and its causin a delay in findin em

or uve got a firewall issue somewhere along the line and the first quiry port aint workin
